I recently came back from Peru where I was visiting some of the most ancient megalithic marvels on the planet. One of the many highlights of my expedition was traveling to the coast to visit the Paracas museum where many enigmatic elongated skulls from the area are on display.
DNA analysis of these Paracas elongated skulls has recently been done and verifies that the elongation was not just caused by artificial cranial deformation, but rather by genetics. Some of the elongated skulls cranial volume is up to 25 percent larger and 60 percent heavier than conventional human skulls. Meaning that they could not have been intentionally deformed through head binding or flattening as cranial deformation can change the shape, but does not alter the volume or weight of a skull. Many of these elongated skulls contain only one parietal plate, rather than two and many of them feature two small holes at the very back-end of the skull. “It had mtDNA (mitochondrial DNA) with mutations unknown in any human, primate, or animal known so far. But a few fragments I was able to sequence from this sample indicate that if these mutations will hold we are dealing with a new human-like creature, very distant from Homo sapiens, Neanderthals and Denisovans.” 1
